For those of you reading this who have received complements from me, your works have been justification enough. It brings me great happiness and a certain sense of humbleness being absorbed in your creations. For those who I feel create purposeless works void of meaning and reason, your critiques were justified in your works as well. I've a liberal mind and keep it open, not open enough so my mind falls to the floor, but free enough to see meaning and purpose in many things. There are few creations that I feel are wasteful, such as talentless photographs of one's body taken in a mirror, camera visible and all. Honestly, how much skill, creative thought, and purpose do these images have? However, I usually refrain from stating my opinion of these images if there are few in one's gallery, or if I sense some talent within the creator. Then I just state the obvious; telling them of this talent and urging them to expand upon it, nurture it, and finally create with it. That is all, nothing more, nothing less.
If anyone has any specific requests for critiques, just simply ask and it will be my pleasure. I feed off of beauty as you do praise and pleasure of a new creation.
I've said all that needs to be said for now.
I hope peace is with you all, for this is a false world we live in today.

Devious Comments
Talk about calling the kettle black! Your gallery is no better than theirs. Half of YOUR pics are myspace reminiscient pictures, that you blurred out or filtered. You consider that art? I think you should consider cleaning up your own gallery before you start to critique the works of others.
Myself, I don't care if you critique any of my work. I'd love to see if your opinion of my work is not completely biased by this comment.
Although do hold your use of the English language in high regard (So many people tend to butcher it on these sorts of sites) that's about the only thing I can respect. If your going to critique, I wouldn't do it on this site, you really have to sift through mounds of crap to find some talent.
So ends my critique of your work.
Peace to you, as well.

This is where the Angels go to die.
So to answer one of your first questions, yes, I do believe I have every right to say that something is devoid of meaning if it is. Just the other day I saw a photo of a cd broken in the grass. Nothing under it giving any sort of description as to what the artists purpose behind it was, just empty... Now can you tell me what exactly it is that I am supposed to derive from this image? How it is supposed to give me some sort of urge to make a change in my life? To open my eyes to some sort of beauty I was once unaware to? Yes, void, empty, meaningless, and purposeless.
As for my photographs, my tattoo was in the number one place for three weeks in the most views in a month. I don't claim to be a photographer, and that is the reason why my photos lack any real skill. But there are a few things one can take away: Kin, my sister, is a poor shot that I mainly put up because someone had asked me what my sister looked like; Marked is self-explanatory and justified as well by its standing; Falling Star I thought was capturing a beautiful moment that most people don't give two seconds to truly cherish; Crash is a demonstration of vibrancy and life in an environment of decay; Self in others, well, everyone needs at least one photo of themselves in here; The Fury, well thats just a fucking good book if millions of others and myself do say so, give it a read; and Gina is meant to be blurry, there's more to an image than its focus, plus a demonstration of contrast as well. Also note how it says I critique and it was only a test. Opinions were wanted on how to begin in the event that I actually decided to attempt photography at an amateur level.
Biases are for those who have little control over their own mind; thus are slaves to every whim of their emotions. So, for your gallery, the only thing I have to say is it's a good start and keep developing you skills. Try to expand beyond one topic and style though. I think you did a pretty decent job on Slit Your Own Throat.
In conclusion, I agree with your comment that one must "sift through mounds of crap to find some talent." It's a shame, it wasn't like this five or six years ago. Fan art and meaninglessness have gone reckless. The upcoming generation has a uniform mind that has no essence to it. The age of mass conformity is approaching in this fascist society.
The only question is, are you going to do something about it or just give your silent consent?

You did not, and I understand that, but if you lack the talent to do, what gives you the talent to critique what others do? Especially in a negative manner? Philosophy, it is a double edged sword. On one hand it explores all the marvels of life, in a poetic and intelligent manner, on the other hand, it is it's own downfall. You waste your own existence, figuring out the meaning of it. When in fact, there is no meaning. Meaning, philosophy, time these are just all things the human minds have come up with to comfort themselves about such a meaningless existence.
You do, in fact, but at the same time, you make yourself look like a fool. If I had not decided to engage this conversation with you, I would've thought you were some overconfident prick, who read a bit too many books on philosophy. Obviously, I was mistaken, and for that, I will apologize.
You yourself have slipped upon the slope of assumption. I never mentioned the content of the pictures. That means nothing to me. The photographs lacked the time and effort needed to make them artwork, anything can make a good photo. But is someone who is looking at the picture you took of that sunset going to have the same feelings as you when you took it? More than likely not if you didn't take the time to think it out, set up, pre plan, and so on. Very rarely does a picture that took a minute or two make someone go "Jeez, that's impressive". _The fury_ did nothing for me, I apologize, But I thought your picture _Crash_ was absolutely breathtaking.
I agree, and I'm very pleased that you didn't fall for such a blatent trap. Unfortunately, I really don't think you were tough enough on me. Most of my pictures are absolute garbage compared to what people would call decent.
Oh, I couldn't agree more with your last statement. The fanart is disgusting. Everything on the popular section of the front page is either some sort of sexual joke/ innuendo, not to mention Kingdom Hearts/ Naruto/ Deathnote Yoai and fan comics. No, I don't believe we're at that stage of the game yet, but we're fast approaching.
I suppose I had you nailed wrong. And again, I apologize for my harshness. I'm doing my best, I hope you keep doing yours.

This is where the Angels go to die.
I was just returning the favor of wishing you peace.
There is no peace, there never has been. People are constantly at war with themselves, thus is the cancerous human society.
Freedom? I don't believe we were on the subject, but why not?
Nobody is free! Freedom is such madness. People are forced by capitalism to be slaves of money, jobs, and anything in between.
Why should I be outraged? I would rather have a system that binds me to money, rather than a barbaric system of freedom where people kill each other. Freedom is the greatest threat to your life.

Freedom is the only way.

There is no such thing as freedom.

Will you respond to this? I YOU HAVE TO. In turn, you may not be a slave, but you feel that you must, or must not.

This is where the Angels go to die.
You're arguing absurdism, and yes, I know all about it. To counter what you said, that is all there is to it. Understanding that nothing has meaning and that we are the ones that give meaning to everything. You're wrong claiming that it is a double-edged sword. Every great society has had its own philosophy. Every life has his or her own philosophy. It's just simply a way of living. Time wasn't created to stop meaninglessness, god was. Time was created for order. Understanding and learning how to think is what is of importance in philosophy. We are the only ones who make our lives meaningless, I am not living a meaningless existence.
As for the pictures, you did mention my gallery, which I justified. And the photos at least had a purpose, which is all I am arguing. I don't have the greatest camera and what photos I took I thought were decent. Hence, why I'm asking for advice. As you mentioned with time, effort, and planning, all these mean nothing to me if I know not what I'm trying to plan. I do put in the time and effort. I walked for fifteen minuets on that beach looking for a place I thought decent.
Fan art is just boarder line plagiarism. "Let's take someone else's art and copy it in different poses." Wow, original.
